If you are looking for a fun and unique vacation be sure to visit Puerto Rico. One of its best cities, Aguadilla, offers plenty to do for the active types as well as the ones that just want to get away from it all and relax.
For the active set, be sure to check out the excellent golfing. Punta Borinquen Golf Course was built for stationed military in the 1940’s. Even Dwight D. Eisenhower played there!  Get the whole family, ahem, in the swing of things at the Las Cascades’ Aquatic Theme Park. You will find awesome water rides, roller coasters and more. A definite must do while you are in Aguadilla! If a day on the water is your cup of tea, in addition to the water park make sure to visit Crashboat Beach.
For those of you looking for a less adventurous vacation be sure to take in some good food, history and shopping. Be sure to take a trip to the Punta Borinquen Lighthouse. Located on the former Ramey Air Force Base, the light house has been around since 1889. Destroyed by a tsunami, it is still an awesome piece of history and a great photo op to share with friends back home.  In the central plaza, you will find a monument to Rafael Hernandez, a renowned musician.
If you are looking to shop and enjoy local foods there are also tons of options for you. You will find a shopping mall with the main stores that you are used to. Be sure to stop there for souvenirs they are sure to be cheapest. Be on the lookout for local venders there as well. Take in some of the unique flavors of the city and you certainly won’t be disappointed!
